When to go?

Summer is the obvious time to go but Spring and Autumn are also good. Just be aware that all the shops, bars and restaurants that depend on the tourist trade close down for the winter on 1st November.

Catedral De Mallorca

One of the most magnificent gothic cathedral in Europe. Entrance 4 euros. Open Monday - Friday 10-15.15, Sat 10-14.15, closed Sun and Holidays.

Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró a Mallorca

Just outside Palma in Mallorca you can visit the four workshops in which Joan Miró had carried out his creative work from 1956 until his death in 1983.

Cala Deia Beach

Orange Juice in Bar Bini

Enjoy the best fresh orange juice at Bar Bini in Soller with a great view as the traditional wooden tram goes past.

Port De Soller

Take the tram from Soller to Port De Soller, a lovely beach and cove harbour with great restaurants along the promenade. 4 euros each way.

The Museum of Contemporary Spanish Art

In the heart of Palma the museum is home to a permanent collection of twentieth century Spanish art. It also hosts exhibitions of contemporary artists. Free entry www.march.es/museupalma

City Sightseeing Bus - Palma

Palma has a tourist bus that lets you visit the city's most characteristic sites. Enjoy the tour at your own pace while you get on and off at any stop while the ticket is valid. Regular fare 15 euros.
