When to go?

The high season in Antigua coincides largely with the high season in the rest of the Caribbean. Most travellers flock to the island from the middle of December to the middle of April, when the island experiences less rain, heat, and humidity.

Party Time

The Lookout is the name of the observation point and restaurant at Shirley Heights, where every Sunday there is a barbeque and live music. Steel bands from 4pm and Reggae after 7pm.

Warri

Wherever you see a huddle of men, you can be sure there will be a game of Warri going on. It is played on a wooden board with 12 holes and 48 seeds. The aim is the capture your opponents seeds.

Devil's Bridge

At the most eastern tip of Antigua near Long Bay, is a natural rock bridge with several blowholes formed by the pounding of the Atlantic surf. It is a popular weekend destination with the locals because the offshore reef acts as a breakwater and the sea is calm.

Antigua's Best Beaches

Cades Bay and Driftwood Beach are two of Antigua's finest beaches.

Montserrat Helicopter trip
